shadowstorm originally started out as a mere playground for emerging web technologies in the summer of 1997. Even then, however, it was also a place I used to showcase some of my writings, both published and unpublished. A web site serves as a good sounding board for writing for an author, or so it seems. Of course, the site expanded beyond this into graphics and editorials, yet it still retains that original essence of thought.

Of course, combined with all of that, is the a large part of what I seem to be focused on in my rants and writings: the state of human affairs. Of course, this is a wide subject that includes thousands of different points and perspectives. A main perspective could be that humanity is flawed beyond the point of redemption--at least it is at this stage of the game.

In any event, shadowstorm is a showcase of both visual and literary works, which all tie in to my own mind, which makes this site a representation of that. Everything here is here specifically for your enjoyment, or for my own gratification, who knows. Although the items shown here are also here in a hoped for attempt that something will occur to you, perhaps you will realize something you hadn't considered before (even if that something has little to do with what you were actually viewing here). The point of all things artistic, without the political overtones, is inspiration. And inspiration covers so many things.

As for personal information about me? That is without use here...the site is not about me, the site is about my creations, which may be difficult for some to differentiate. Suffice it to say I created this site, for you to see. It matters little why or how I did it, since that is not the point.

The point is that given time and circumstance, my creations can spark the mind that will change the world. And so can you...
